The Muncie Artists Guild (MAG) is proud to once again sponsor the annual Susie Burns Memorial Scholarship Exhibit. The current scholarship program was reestablished in 2015 by former MAG President Karen Fisher to support and encourage Delaware County high school senior and junior art students. Student artists’ submissions are accepted with the encouragement and involvement from their teachers and schools.

Thirty-three high school artists entered the show this year with so many wonderful works of art that it made it extremely difficult for the MAG Scholarship Committee to select only a few entries from the 2D and 3D categories. The awards given in the two categories were the scholarship award, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons, honorary mention ribbons, and People's Choice. Also included were several cash prizes and gift certificates.

The 2025 art show was held in the Westminster Village Legacy Hall, on April 2. This year, the two high school art students selected to receive the Susie Burns Memorial Scholarship were: Lilly Cole, Catching the Stars, Yorktown High School, and Marley Dowling, Fishbowl, Delta High School.
